The importance of natural paints

From childhood, we are encouraged to create, and paints have always been our companions. As adults, moments of creativity are often consumed by routine, yet many of us find an escape in hands-on hobbies and crafts.

The colours we paint with reflect our imagination — but do they align with our environmental values? Most paints are made from synthetic pigments, which can be toxic to both the environment and our skin.

The alternative is undoubtedly natural paints — in this case, watercolours made from organic and inorganic pigments. Their extraction and production are gentle on nature, taking only what is needed and making the most of leftover dye materials.
